Working on the Cat
I was trying new ways of doing the cat's face, I have not painted them yet. I wanted to try primitive for the body, not doing too much detail like I always seem to. Kind of funny! Skinny little legs and arms, ha ha. They seem to be saying "what's the big idea?"
I am an artist that likes to make figures, human or otherwise, preferably with moving joints out of a variety of mediums. I've decided to use this blog as a little outlet to show how I do a few of the things I do, for those who are curious, or may be struggling with making figures of their own.

About Me
- Crystal
- I have studied painting and sculpture and still enjoy doing both though sculpting seems to have the dominant spot in my life right now. I have won Doll magazine's "Award of excellence" two years in a row 2013-2014, in the artist ball jointed doll category. I have also won "best of show" this past year at the Orlando Museum of Art.
